Simple Sunday
Can I have another Simple Sunday post about drugs? Well I am. So remember the RX strength advil the doctor prescribed. I thought it was a bit unnecessary, but I took it anyway the first day for the body aches and then basically forgot about it.
Until one day I went to nap and somehow either A) slept wrong or B) coughed my body out of whack or a combo of the both because I pulled a neck muscle and could.not.move. Seriously, the most painful thing ever. But, ta-da! Crazy meds to make the pain go away!! I’m down to taking just one a day when it starts acting up.
But hooray to doctors who can somehow see what I’ll need in the future.
And also – hooray to feeling 99% better! I can do things besides sleep & cough! I can concentrate! I don’t need the codeine! Sundays are always great when you have your health!
Hooray!

yay for feeling better! i feel bad for you and your reoccurring sicknesses. maybe you should be more like me and sleep 14 hours a day.

so sometimes when patients have a nasty flu virus, they’re only aware of the “direct symptoms” that bring them into the doc’s office.
often the recovery from a virus can be worse than the symptoms of the viral infection itself. it sounds like your doc was proactive and used good judgement in prescribing you mild pain meds to ward off the nasty “viral hangover”.
now that you’re feeling better you can blog more and that makes me feel much more shiny and happy. plus, it’s spring in NY and you need to be out and about for the rest of us.

I am so happy now that I feel better. I’ve just been wanting to frollick in the warm weather. Today I sat outside during lunch and even got some burn on my face. hooray. well, not so much for the burn, but for the sun.
and, i have no idea what gravatar is…? i uploaded one… now what?
