Slipping Away

Things are slightly weird this weekend. For some reason I have no desire whatsoever to leave the apartment. It’s a perfectly beautiful weekend and all the springtime people are out and getting their drink on and people are happy and free… but all I want to do is curl up and read and do a lot of nothing.

I’m working on not berating myself for things like this and instead embracing it and trying to be productive. And hoping that it won’t last too long and that soon I’ll want to be social again. Maybe I just need to recharge the batteries a little.
