Four Eyed Monsters, Part Deux

I know I’ve written about Four Eyed Monsters before but had mostly forgotten about it until last night when I caught the end of it on IFC. They re-edited the ending! And it’s still awesome. It turns all meta on itself, which I guess it did from the beginning, but then even more so. So interesting.

Anyway, I love the movie so much, and even though I still haven’t bought it, there was a commercial for FEM after the movie that said that Borders was selling it, starting Tuesday. Crazy. I’m excited for those kids and hopefully they’ll finally make some money so they can stop begging to everyone all the time that we should help get them out of debt because they made an awesome movie they couldn’t afford. Anyway.

If you happen to get IFC, keep an eye out for it.

And in other movie news, the Tribeca Film Fest has started again, so suddenly there are huge crowds around the theaters near me and walking home from work the other night was crazy annoying because they all think they own the sidewalks, and I’m all, uh, I’m trying to walk here, and feel like being smooshed by a car, thank you… but The Boy’s Best Friend is in town from Toronto because his girlfriend’s brother has a movie premiering during the fest. So yay for that!
